Biography

Shaykh Kazi Ashiqur Rahman is a Hafidh and Qari of the Holy Qur’an, holding Ijazah Sanad traced back to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) in the Qirā’ah of Imām ‘Āṣim and Imām Ḥamzah.

He spent over a decade in Cairo, where he completed a BA in Islamic and Arabic Studies at Al-Azhar University, followed by a Master’s degree in Islamic Law (Shari‘ah).

Today, Shaykh Kazi is dedicated to teaching, recitation, and preserving the rich tradition of Qur’anic scholarship for the next generation.

Good understanding and grasp over Rules of Tajweed.

Being able to recite Surah Al-Fatiha to Surah Al-Feel correctly under the guidance of Shaykh Ashiq.

Being able to identify and correct common errors in recitation of the Qur'an.

Confidence to advance onto further learning in Qur'an and its Sciences.

Course Final Assessment & Certification

Once a student signs up to this course and completes studying it with the materials provided, he/she is entitled to an assessment examination which is followed by certification to confirm that the student has completed this stage.

The assessment will be via a live video call with a qualified teacher. The exam will include questions on Tajweed theory and practical recitation of Surahs in this syllabus.

The fee for assessment and certification is a further £28. Certificate will be posted to the address submitted by the student.
